Jackson Boone to run his No. 7 under the Fetcho Racing Banner on Saturday at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Nashville, TN (Sep. 30, 2024) – Nashville’s Dylan Fetcho Racing (DFR) headed by Dylan Fetcho, the 3-Time Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Pro Late Model champion and his father, Scott Fetcho, have announced today that Jackson Boone will pilot the No. 7 Pro Late Model for the team at Nashville this Saturday, October 5.
Dylan and Boone have raced together since their quarter-midget days and have remained competitors and friends throughout the years and into their late model careers. Boone has one prior start with DFR at Nashville in June, where he finished second. Fetcho, running part-time this season and not running for championship points, has been focused on building the team’s driver development program while building a touring Super Late Model schedule for himself. The team recently announced Brentwood, Tennessee’s Aiden Potter to their program as well.
Boone is a 2019 graduate of Franklin, Tennessee’s Page High School and began racing quarter midgets when he was 9 years old, going on to win 50-plus races on the local and national circuits in his 7-year career in quarter-midgets. Since transitioning to his Late Model stock car career, Boone has tallied 12 wins and numerous podium and top 5 finishes across the southeast including the 2019 Pro Late Model championship at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
In 2022 and 2023, Jackson was selected as a finalist for the esteemed (Alan) Kulwicki Driver Development program and placed 3rd both years. Jackson had a dream season in 2023 where he celebrated 6 wins, 5 runner -ups, 2 top 3’s and 2 top 5’s.
Boone recently announced his own racing program had lost significant sponsorship backing and the team’s future was uncertain. He noted that the unique opportunity to partner with DFR, gives him an opportunity to do more for his sponsors and the individuals that have helped him all along the way as the 2024 race season begins to wind down.
“The whole point of this race on Saturday is to honor those who have supported us through the years and those who have had my back for quite some time. A lot of challenging work has gone into this event for us to be able to accomplish it, and it means the world to my family and I that we get to participate in this. We are thankful to the Fetcho’s and so many close friends and family members who have stepped up and contributed financially to allow this race to happen. We were blown away and eternally grateful. We will honor a couple of these folks, in particular, closer to race day. This race means the world to us,” said Boone.
“Life has not been fantastic and fun here as of recent. My family has gone through a lot of adversity behind closed doors, and the thought of losing our race program has just been icing on the cake. I’m just hoping for a great run to hopefully cap off the years of success I’ve had at this track and make those who have supported me proud. There are many struggling family members and friends being represented in this race, so the personal side of me to compete and do well for them is immense,” he continued.
Boone said he wants to pay special honor on Saturday to Roy’s Meat Service of east Nashville, RaceReadySIM.com, Boiler Warehouse, and ATP Plumbing, Paving and Excavating Company - shining a spotlight on their tremendous support, both personally and professionally.
With this being Breast Cancer Awareness Night for the Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, it is notable to share that Jackson has historically recognized the memory of his aunt Cathy on all his race cars, who succumbed to the disease several years ago. He continues to be a strong advocate for cancer awareness and research.
Team co-owner Dylan Fetcho said he is happy to have his friend back behind the wheel for the team on Saturday. “We are excited to have Jackson back with us in the race car this week and we’re looking forward to finishing one spot better than we did the last time. Jackson and his family are good people, and this is a special race for all of us on many levels.”
Practice begins on Friday for all divisions. The complete schedule and ticket information can be found at www.nashvillefairgroundsspeedway.racing. Saturday’s events will be streamed live at RacingAmerica.tv.

Nashville’s Dylan Fetcho Racing Announces Aidan Potter to Late Model Driver Development Program
By Dylan Fetcho Racing / August 22nd, 2024
Nashville, TN (Aug. 22nd, 2024) – Dylan Fetcho Racing headed by the 3-Time Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Pro Late Model champion and his father, Scott Fetcho, have shifted gears for the 2024 race season.
Instead of racing for a fourth track championship, potentially surpassing Sterling Marlin and Andy Kirby, Jr. – each with three titles as well, the team decided to implement a driver development program in the Pro Late Model division for 2024 and beyond.
Brentwood, Tennessee’s Aidan Potter has been announced to the organization, with his first race slated for Cordele Motor Speedway later this month.
Dylan made the decision to field his familiar No. 89 only part-time this season and not run for championship points, picking up a victory in April on the 5/8-mile asphalt oval while building a touring Super Late Model schedule for himself.
Wanting to continue the passion, energy and momentum wrapped around the team’s long-standing Pro Late Model effort in middle-Tennessee and throughout the southeast, the team agreed to open their successful program to mentorship and development within the motorsports industry that would include up-and-coming drivers with notable racing achievements to their Lebanon, Tennessee-based racing program. Insert Aidan Potter.
Potter is no stranger to success and mastering his craft.
The 16-year-old picked up the regional Quarter Midget championship at the metro-Atlanta Dixie Shootout along with multiple race wins at Nashville and Huntsville in 2018.
A year later he added the National Quarter Midget championship at Daytona International Speedway and at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas to his resume.
In 2020 Potter claimed The Tennessee INEX championship, along with the Nashville Fairgrounds and Veterans Motorplex championships in the Bandolero division, repeating those feats in 2021.
In 2022, Potter graduated from the Skip Barber Racing School, then made the move the following year to open wheel racing in the F4 United States Championships series, and made his USF Juniors debut at COTA.
For 2024, Aidan has competed in Yacademy events at Homestead-Miami Speedway scoring 2, top 10 results to date. Drivers that participate in the Yacademy Winter Series have access to the best world class race car drivers as their instructors, led by Gustavo Yacaman.
Potter says he is excited for his next move to team up with Dylan Fetcho Racing and return to the Nashville-based team to apply his effort and broad experience to heighten his career in Pro Late Model racing. The Daytona Beach, FL native still considers Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway his home track.
“Through the few practices I’ve had with Dylan and the DFR team, I’ve gotten so confident and feel so good for the upcoming races and into next season. I feel like with this team, I’ll have the resources and a chance to compete every single weekend. I am so thankful for them allowing me to race for their program. It’s both exciting and humbling.”
Dylan Fetcho echoes the sentiments of Potter, saying “We are really looking forward to having Aidan in the driver’s seat. We’ve tested a few times with him and his abilities have exceeded our expectations each time.”
“We’re excited to help him get adapted to the Pro Late Model after racing open wheels for so long and are highly anticipating a strong and successful relationship together,” he continued.
Further races are to be announced by the team for 2024 following Cordele, and the plan is to run a full Pro Late Model season at Nashville for 2025 and include some strategic events throughout the region as well.
Potter will drive the No. 68 for Dylan Fetcho Racing at the Cordle Motor Speedway Pro Late Model 100, and the race will be streamed live Saturday, Aug. 31st on Racing America.tv.
